A 7 hour training class describing THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF AN
EFFECTIVE EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN and is directed to managers who
need to review and upgrade their own emergency response plans to make them more effective. The essential elements of an effective
plan are presented with suggested methods of implementing those elements. The class is very practical and is based on proven
applications throughout the United States. The goal of the class is to provide a response plan model which can be easily modified
for any organization.
A 7 hour training class describing what can be done, prior to
FEMA's arrival, in PREPARING FOR FEMA and
is directed to Managers and Emergency Management personnel who will be dealing directly with FEMA in a Federal
Disaster Declaration. The practical application of FEMA regulations as they apply to a Public Agency will be explained. The
goal of the class is to suggest some ways in which the Public Agency can optimize its efforts in quickly getting the maximum
reimbursement from FEMA.
A 3 hour training seminar describing WHAT
PUBLIC AGENCY EMPLOYEES NEED TO KNOW AND DO BEFORE FEMA ARRIVES and is directed to all managers and supervisors, so that all employees will know what to do before FEMA arrives. Employees
are essential to insuring that a Public Agency will quickly receive its maximum FEMA reimbursement. The actions and knowledge
of employees can effect every phase of the FEMA process from the Preliminary Damage Assesment, which determines if a
Federal Disaster will be declared, to the submittal of FEMA Projects, which is the final step in providing
FEMA with documentation for actual reimbursement. This class is a must for every Public Agency.
CLASS COSTS:
- The maximum number of students in each Class session is 30.
- Associations of Public Agencies are welcome to organize
a Class session and determine the charge for their members.
- My Fee is $500. to $1,000. for each Class session, depending on the
Class. My fee is negotiable.
